Construction Project Manager for the Charlottesville Albemarle Airport Authority
Charlottesville Albemarle Airport Authority is currently accepting applications for Construction Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for coordination of terminal renovations which includes 8,000 square feet consisting of restrooms, security checkpoint, and a build-out of an additional 5,900 feet. The duration of the project is 420 days. Future projects may be added.
Primary responsibility is to ensure that construction project occurs according to schedule and within budgeting guidelines without sacrificing quality. Acts as liaison between contractor, architect, and Airport Authority.
Must have familiarity with different areas of construction as well as federal, state, and local workplace safety and building codes.
Experience in construction management and/or a 4-year degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or a combination of experience and education.
Salary negotiated. Open until filled.
