Spring Air Travel Deals at Charlottesville Albemarle Airport
Despite news of air fare increases, spring air travel deals abound. Airfarewatchdog.com advertises two such deals from Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO) to the great state of Texas.
Of course Texans may avail themselves of the same deals to visit one of the most beautiful areas of the country during the spring. In addition to the 61st Charlottesville Dogwood Festival, 2010 includes the Year of the Rivanna with many notable activities and the 75th anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Nelson County celebrates spring with two upcoming bluegrass festivals and brewery/winery events while Greene County is also host to winery events as well as the June Strawberry Festival.
How to get here or there? Delta Airlines, US Airways and United Airlines all have special air travel deals to/from CHO and Dallas/Fort Worth International AIrport (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). All travel must be completed by June 10, 2010. Fares for CHO/Houston as low as $238 roundtrip while CHO/Dallas is as low as $258 roundtrip.
Do you know Houston is the fourth largest city in the United States and has resident companies in all major performing arts? Or that Dallas is the eighth largest city in the United States and is considered a primary inland port due to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport?
